Support

Calm help for the practical stuff.

Most issues resolve quickly. If they do not, Salette support is intentionally simple: a few strong starting points, direct answers to common questions, and a real email address when you need a person.

Quick checks

  1. Update to the latest version of Salette from the App Store.
  2. Restart the app, and restart your device if the issue persists.
  3. Make sure you have enough free storage for photos and collection data.
  4. Confirm iCloud is enabled on each Apple device if you expect sync.

Good first habits

  • Start by adding a few pieces so your first collections form naturally.
  • Use custom collections to mirror the way you already think about the work.
  • Mark favorite pieces for quick access and recurring reference.
  • Enable iCloud sync if you want the collection available across devices.
  • Spend time with insights once the collection grows. The patterns get useful quickly.

Need a human?

Email . If you are reporting a bug, include your iOS version, device model, Salette version, and the steps that led to the issue. If you are asking for a feature, describe the workflow you wish existed.

Answers to the questions that come up most.

How do I add photos to my collection?

Use the camera control when adding or editing an artwork. You can take a new photo or choose one from the photo library, then keep the rest of the record with the image.

How does iCloud sync work?

When enabled, your collection syncs across Apple devices through your personal iCloud account. Your data stays in your iCloud environment and is not accessible to Salette.

Can I export my collection data?

Yes. You can export artwork or collection information through the app's export features, which is useful for backups, insurance, family records, or sharing a clean summary.

How do custom collections work?

You can create collections around artist, room, year, medium, child, exhibition, or any other logic that fits your world. One artwork can belong to multiple collections at the same time.

Do you collect my personal data or collection information?

No. Salette does not collect your artwork records, photos, or private collection information. For details, see the Privacy page.

Can I use Salette for my child's artwork?

Yes. Salette works well for documenting school projects, drawings, paintings, and the small creative moments families do not want to lose over time.

Can artists or galleries use it too?

Yes. Salette can support artists managing inventory and galleries keeping visual records, especially when notes and context matter as much as bookkeeping.
