Designed so your collection stays yours.

What we collect

• Your collection data. Artwork information, photos, metadata, and organization details are stored locally and synced through iCloud if you enable it. This data belongs to you.
• Optional diagnostics. If you choose to share diagnostics through Apple settings, we may receive anonymized crash and stability information from Apple.
• Support email. When you write to , we receive your address and message so we can respond.

What we do not collect

• No account creation or user registration.
• No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
• No sale or sharing of collection data or personal information.
• No behavioral tracking across the app.
• No server-side access to your artwork photos, notes, or catalog records.

Storage and sync

Your collection lives locally on your device using Apple-native storage. If you enable iCloud sync, the data travels through your personal iCloud account so it can stay consistent across your Apple devices. We do not have access to that private iCloud data.

Photos and media

Artwork photos you add are stored locally and optionally synced through iCloud. Salette does not upload, analyze, or host your image library on our own servers. Image handling happens on-device.

Children and family use

Salette can be used by families documenting children's artwork. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and collection data remains under the control of the device owner.

Retention, export, and deletion

Support emails are retained only as long as needed to address your request. Your collection data remains on your device and in iCloud until you choose to delete it. You can export collection data and delete individual works or entire collections from within the app.
