About Salette

Built for the art people actually keep.

Salette started with a simple request: make something warmer, more personal, and more useful than a spreadsheet for an art collection.

The beginning

Salette was born from a dinner conversation in June 2025. Friends were talking about coding assistants, what modern Apple app development could make possible, and the everyday tools that still felt missing.

When one friend asked whether there could be an app to track an art collection, the idea stuck. By the next morning, a working demo existed. That proof of concept became a real product over the months that followed.

The app icon is a small nod to the moment that sparked it all.
